It's that time of year again - the night of New Year's Eve - when all too many sit anxiously waiting for the clock to strike twelve and the ball to drop. "Last thing said, first thing remembered." Ever heard this old adage? When it comes to presentations, it's worth keeping in mind. Your closing is your last chance to make a good impression. It's the final imprint that the audience is left with. It's often the key, after a tough Q&A session, to ending on a good note. It should be memorable and, in persuasive talks, should move the audience to action.
The conclusion of a talk is the last of three essential components of a presentation: the In… Continue
Teleseminars are taking the internet by storm. Online users simply love them because compare to articles and blog posts, they are more interactive and more interesting.
Here's how you can explode your teleseminars:
1. Talk to your target audience.
Ask them what information they want you to share. Do they want you to talk about their problems? Perhaps, they want you to host a question and answer type of teleseminar. It's important that you know what they want so you can easily… Continue
Being offensive will turn off your audience faster then anything. You don't want to do or say anything that'll make people have distaste for you, or even worse actually get up and leave the room. Usually when someone is offended it is because you have said something they don't like. Sometimes you won't be able to avoid this, but in many cases you can. You want to stay away from certain territory like religion and personal beliefs so you don't stomp on anybody. You also want to make sure you don'… Continue

You will organize your speech similar to a story meaning that you need a beginning, middle and an end. You will make a point or state a major idea and then offer supporting evidence.
The outline of your speech may follow one of the following three templates.
1. A chronological outline moves from the past towards the present or future. For example, the director of the hospital may be giving a speech at a fund-raising dinner. The director might talk about the founding of the hospital, the key eve… Continue

He's a former high school teacher (history, I think) who has built a very successful business using internet marketing strategies.

In my pursuit for Twitter excellence, one of the things I have found to be most beneficial is to pay close attention to the terms of service on Twitter, as well as their blog.

Something else I learned is that once you have followed 2000 people, you won't be allowed to follow anymore until you have at least 2000 following you.
While I suppose you coul… Continue
